Open Space Committee

The Open Space Committee's purpose is to develop an Open Space Plan for the Township. The Open Space Plan will identify a strategy for how to provide for the needs of the community by preservation of new and linking of existing open space. The committee will also identify existing parcels of land that should be kept as open space and recommend funding mechanisms. The committee is especially concerned with saving land that is environmentally sensitive, of historical value, or is valuable for creating or extending existing lands for active or outdoor recreational activities.

Open Space Committee meeting are held the 4th Monday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Township Hall.
