Community Alerts
The Township of Chatham is committed to ensuring the public is informed and receives timely notices, especially in the event of emergencies. We encourage you to sign up for community alerts through three convenient channels: our Newsletter, ACT Now, and the Mobile App.
Township of Chatham Newsletter
Our newsletter, to be launched in 2025, is delivered by e-mail with dynamic content about non-emergency and emergency notifications. Subscribers can expect to receive updates on services, events, and initiatives. You can also sign up for alerts based on your interests. Click here to subscribe to the newsletter.
Alert Chatham Township (ACT) Now
ACT Now, through Rave Mobile Safety, is an automated reverse telephone call system for emergencies – everyone is encouraged to sign up for this system. You can choose to receive notifications to a landline number or mobile telephone number. If you provide a mobile telephone number and/or e-mail address, you can receive text messages as well. It is recommended that you include your physical address during registration to take advantage of an additional feature which allows for neighborhood-specific alerts. Chatham Township NJ Mobile App
Our NEW official app launched July 2026, offering residents a convenient way to connect with their municipal government on the go! Designed to keep residents easily informed and engaged in a mobile-friendly platform, the app delivers real-time push notifications for alerts straight to your smartphone or other mobile device. Beyond immediate notifications, it serves as a streamlined, all-in-one hub providing quick access to frequently used municipal resources, forms, and department contacts.
